Great app for time tracking. I use it in personal mode. With macos x app

We started using Harvest at our software Dev company. In 1 week it has already improved accountability including my own to myself. If you have never tracked your time it is a big eye opener and gentle motivator to stay focused on what is important to you. This app, website and integration with ScrumDo is really useful and its easy to setup and use. Great App.

I love the app and the web program. Only thing missing is ability to run two timers at once. Would be very helpful to have such a feature.

Ive been using Harvest for a month and am delighted with the ease of use in tracking time and invoicing clients.

I have worked in project development and research for 20 years. This is the best tool that Ive ever used. It allows communication within the office and outside the office. It is real time and allows for communication on many levels and file share with archive option.

Easy and best way to do time hands down

Im not sure if you can, but it would be awesome if you could make your invoices in the app.

Seriously it is awesome and super user friendly. I use it on my iPhone iPad and MacBook Pro.

I love this app! And the fact that I dont have to be on my computer to track time.

Really has made it possible for me to be self employed. I have ADD and this is the 1st time tracker I could cope with and INVOICING IS NOW (almost) A DREAM (used to be my worst nightmare - who did I work for? When? How long? What?) Also ability to defying project tasks and clock time to those tasks means I can see how much time has gone to each part of a project and impress the client... Eg: I can create 3 tasks and budget time to them (implement 6hours, train 2h , support 4h), then I can track whether Im on budget or in danger of going over, or tell client we are under budget or need more time allocated. Makes me look in control of the project! (Instead of chaotic!) Sends professional automated payment reminders, allows client to pay electronically. Also can send professional project estimates (quotes) out when I bid. Client can accept electronically and bingo electronically signed agreement! Did I say I love it?

Harvest is fantastic and I recommend it to people all the time. However, the assumption that people primarily use harvest for time tracking seems to continue showing up in this app. I use harvest almost exclusively for invoice management, so I was thrilled when invoices appeared in a recent version of the app. Finally I could easily manage invoices on the go, rather than trying to navigate the non-responsive desktop/web version on my phone. Unfortunately, one update later and the invoices seem to have disappeared again for reasons unknown. Bring invoices back = 5 stars!

We use Harvest at the marketing firm where I work. Having the app has allowed me to catch up on missed logs and to more fluidly think through my schedule. Its an intuitive app. Very nice to use and thinks with me.

In the past I spent many hours each month cobbling together time spent on projects by collecting excel spreadsheets from everyone in the studio and then embarking on a marathon session of distilling the studios time into monthly invoices. Each month I dreaded the arrival of the first week of of the month when invoicing would need to go out.. Now, not only is accounting for our time much easier, I also have a great resource that allows me to better understand how time has been spent during various phases of a project and to apply this knowledge to new jobs as they arrive in the studio. This in turn helps me hone my proposals to potential clients to insure that we allow enough time to complete a project and to complete it well....!

I tried entering an expense (not hours!) for an internal project, and date it a week ago, since thats when the money was spent. Instead of merely submitting, it gave me an error that it couldnt "sync". The error message complained that I was submitting hours (I was not!) for the wrong week, and it only gave the option of deleting the entire record. This is really horrible UX design. To do things right, first give me a useful error message which doesnt state falsehoods, and gives a reasonable explanation (if one exists) for why you cant do what Im requesting. Then allow me to edit the record and try submitting again.

Im a huge fan! Projects tab lets me quickly assess how much budgeted time we have left at any point during our design phases. I can manipulate our rates on a per project basis of need be. The app is super easy to navigate through and the learning curve is next to none. My favorite mobile feature is being able to quickly log expenses and digital receipts. No more wallet overflowing with paper records :)

Its easy to enter clients and tasks under each client. Its great to have an on-the-go time-tracker, especially when Im away from my desk. I havent used any features beyond time tracking, though.

I rely on Harvest daily and its an outstanding time tracking and billing service, but the app is lacking. The app is rather limited to simply tracking the starts/stops on the clock and expenses. You cant create invoices or run reports on your time or project data unless you head to Safari to load the full site. Thats all the app is missing for my use case!

Harvest is simply the best darn time tracking and invoicing system around. The iOS app is a stellar companion. Id love to see some of the web app reporting come over to iOS some day, too. But meanwhile the essential functions (particularly expense tracking) are phenomenal. Thanks!

As a consultant, this app (and the web program) have been a key tool. I mostly use the time tracking and invoices. Its great to be able to keep my projects and clients straight and invoicing is simple to do and professional looking. The mobile app is nice for when Im on site with a client - I dont have to remember to put in my time when I get back to the office. Love the clean, simple interface and daily quotes.
