Harvest: Track Time & Invoice App Reviews

Literally. Perfect.

I am so thrilled to have found this. Ive been using Toggl for the last 2 years but would spend an entire day just doing invoicing and reconciling time. The integration with Quick Books Online combined with T the ability to generate invoices is awesome. I highly recommend!

I am a sole practitioner attorney with a business / intellectual property practice. Harvest is a fantastic resource and the accompanying app makes it easy to capture all my time no matter where I am. Excellent customer support. They constantly make improvements and add functionality. Thank you for a wonderful product!

I love Harvest. I have saved so much time and money with its intuitive time tracking and invoicing. I love how easy it is to customize tasks, to see real-time reporting. Every colleague Ive recommended Harvest to has loved it. The app, on the other hand, is a disappointment. Its great that I can track my time, but that is the only valuable feature on the app. I suppose its helpful that I can view and close invoices, but I cant create one. I cant view my uninvoiced hours - as a freelancer, this is the single piece of information that matters to me most. Its all about my budget and earnings. If I cant see my reporting, theres very little value. Ive expressed my desire for these feature and have asked Harvest if/when they plan to augment the apps feature set. The disappointing response Ive received twice, over the course of the past 11 months is that "the Harvest app is not designed to have all the features of the desktop version" and that its specific purpose is to allow for time tracking. My question to Harvest is: have you even spoken to your users? Are you making assumptions about what we will and will not do on mobile? Is this the be-all, end-all decision? The sentiment from Harvest, as its been expressed to me by its support team, is yes. Disappointing. Its a mobile world. I deposit $10,000 checks through my phone, I make major purchases and even use Keynote. My advice to Harvest: keep on rockin. You have a great thing going. But, please, Dont sell us short by making assumptions about what your users want and need to make the most of their billing and time tracking situations.

Is easy to use had a very good experience

This is so smart and easy to use. The entire harvest platform makes my work so much more efficient and the presentation of invoices so professional.

If you need to keep track of exactly how you spend your time, and that information is worth something to at least someone, this has all the bells and whistles for anyone: lawyer, consultant, or craftsman.

I checked out several timekeeping apps and settled on Harvest. This app lets me keep track of the time I spend on freelance jobs from any device. It pulls reports and sends an invoice right from the site in just a few clicks. It sends reminders to late payments and has a simple, easy to use interface. Harvest was the best value and I wasnt looking for as many deeper features that other apps may offer. And recently it found several hours I had forgotten about and I billed for them. That paid for itself right there. I highly recommend Harvest.

Harvest is so easy and intuitive. Theyve thought of everything a small business needs for accounting.

Does what I need, and does it well. Not sure what it should do to get a 5 star, maybe blow me away with something I didnt think of, but it is solid.

Simple, easy to follow/navigate, and efficient. Motivational quotes scattered through the app. Reminders can be helpful or annoying. Overall, good app. I would suggest to have a longer view of your past history not just the previous week.

Tracking time is critical. Harvest does it very well and provides useful feedback on your project status.
